Gathering customer feedback data at point of sale

Retailers can now gather customer feedback data while they take payment, thanks to a new system from TruRating.

Accessible on chip and PIN terminals, for mobile payments or online, the TruRating solution asks shoppers to rate their shop as they pay – and companies then have an opportunity to assess this data within 24 hours.

Retailers have a choice of what they ask their customer, for example it could be ‘How did you rate our service from 0-9?’ or ‘How do you rate our value from 0-9?’. It is being marketed as a simple way to gather information about  the customer experience.

Ratings are anonymous, and could be used to rate customer service in shops and restaurants, or atmosphere and decoration in a hotel room.
