M&S innovation guru joins REPL Group amid retail services rebrand

Former Marks & Spencer (M&S) innovation boss Craig Smith has joined REPL Group as the organisation rebrands its digital services for retail.

The retail professional has taken the role of director of digital, having spearheaded digital innovation at M&S. He is also the author of the retail-innovation.com website, which – much like the Essential Retail Innovation Blog – showcases new trends in the global retail sector.

“With the launch of REPL Digital we have created an exciting new proposition for retailers – a supplier and integrator of website, mobile and in-store solutions which not only offers an end-to-end understanding of the retail industry but can also demonstrate a proven record of digital innovation and successful implementation.

“It’s a uniquely powerful platform, and one which the whole REPL Digital team is looking forward to building on even further.”

The new brand brings together a wide range of established REPL services, including those around in-store digital, eCommerce, mCommerce and mobile workforce management, as well as the app and software development services previously carried out under the Tinderstone name.

REPL Group CEO Mike Callender commented: “By rebranding our digital services for retail as REPL Digital we aim to better communicate not only how broad our services are in this area, but also how integrated.”
